Power Steering Fluid Replacement

Tools and Materials Needed

  • Power steering fluid (Honda PSF or equivalent)
  • Syringe or turkey baster
  • Funnel
  • Clean rags

Step-by-Step Instructions

Locate the Power Steering Fluid Reservoir

Open the hood and locate the power steering fluid reservoir on the driver's side of the engine bay.

Remove Old Fluid

Use a syringe or turkey baster to remove old fluid from the reservoir. Clean the reservoir to remove any contaminants.

Refill with New Fluid

Fill the reservoir with the recommended power steering fluid. Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times to remove any air from the system.

Final Check

Check the fluid level and top off if necessary. Inspect for any leaks around the reservoir and power steering lines.
