- New cabin air filter
- Screwdriver (if necessary)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Locate the Cabin Air Filter Compartment
The cabin air filter is usually located behind the glove compartment.
Access the Filter
Open the glove compartment and remove any contents. Release the stops on either side to allow the glove compartment to hang freely. Locate the cabin filter cover and remove it.
Remove the Old Filter
Slide the old filter out of the compartment. Check for excessive dirt or debris.
Install the New Filter
Insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is correct (usually marked with an arrow). Replace the cover and secure the glove compartment.
Final Check
Ensure the glove compartment is properly closed. Test the air conditioning system to ensure proper airflow.
